Terms of Service

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and the independent developer who operates Starly at trystarly.com.

They are effective as of April 2026. By creating an account, using the dashboard, or otherwise using Starly, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

2. The service

Starly gives local businesses QR codes and short links that take customers to the business's Google review flow. We provide tools to create and manage those codes, track scans and review taps, and (on paid plans) extras such as print-ready PDF designs (multiple downloadable layouts) and PNG exports.

We do not guarantee any minimum number of reviews, stars, or ranking changes. Outcomes depend on your customers and Google.

Reviews are submitted on Google's platform. Google's own terms, policies, and enforcement apply there. Starly does not control Google or how they treat reviews.

Free plan: one active QR code and unlimited scans, with core dashboard features as offered in the product.

Pro plan: unlimited QR codes, full analytics, and print-ready PDF designs (multiple downloadable layouts) and PNG exports.

3. Accounts

  • You agree to provide accurate information when you sign up and when you update your business profile.
  • You are responsible for safeguarding your password and any access to your account.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
  • One primary account per business owner is expected; don't share credentials in ways that abuse the service.
  • We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms, risk the service, or harm other users.

4. Payments and billing

  • Paid subscriptions are billed through Paddle, our merchant of record.
  • Pro Monthly is billed at $29 per month.
  • Pro Yearly is billed at $299 per year.
  • New workspaces include a 7-day free trial. You can start without entering a card; billing details are only required when you choose a paid plan through Paddle.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel.
  • You can cancel from your account billing flow in the dashboard. Access typically continues until the end of the paid period you already covered.
  • Refund requests are decided case by case and, when approved, are processed through Paddle.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use Starly to solicit fake, misleading, or improperly incentivized reviews in ways that violate Google's policies.
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or probe the service in order to harm it or steal data.
  • Impersonate another person or business.
  • Use Starly for any illegal purpose.

6. Intellectual property

The Starly name, branding, and software are owned by the developer.

You keep ownership of your business content and data you provide.

You give us permission to host, process, and display your data as needed to run the service, as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

Starly is provided as is and as available, without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, to the fullest extent allowed by law.

We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.

We are not responsible for Google's decisions about reviews, accounts, or search results.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or Starly is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

9. Termination

  • We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms or create risk for the service.
  • You may stop using Starly and request account deletion at any time.
  • After termination, we aim to delete or anonymize your data within 30 days, except where we must retain certain records.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above.

Using Starly after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
